Nanaimo Clippers Chalk Up Another Win

Nanaimo's BCHL team chalked up an impressive win Friday night in their match against the Alberni Bulldogs. The final score was Clippers six, Alberni two.

The first period was a close match but by the third, the Shipmen had the big dogs on a short leash. The Alberni goalie was peppered with shots. Without his fine effort the score would have been even more lopsided. When the final buzzer went, the shots on goal were 44 to 27.

The Bulldogs have a chance for revenge in Nanaimo October 15 at the Frank Crane Arena.

During the first intermission of the the game, the fans were treated to the up and comers of the game. Watching the little guys reminded everyone just how skilled the young men of the BCHL are.
