Jeremy Mayfield has been suspended indefinitely by Nascar after he failed a drug test taken at the Richmond International Raceway.
Nascar has implemented a tougher drug testing policy after Aaron Fike admitted he had been taking heroin even on the days he raced. The new test has all racers tested before the season with random testings conducted throughout the season.

Any driver who fails a drug test is subject to an indefinite suspension, which would be a first for NASCAR's top series.
