Nate Robinson shoots at wrong basket, Coach Mike D'Antoni snaps
With 0.5 seconds left in the first quarter, the Knicks were inbounding the ball on the Nets' end of the court, up by the score of 28-24. Nate Robinson thought he was going to get cute and shoot a three pointer at the Knicks own basket after time had expired.
Knicks coach Mike D'Antoni snapped after watching in disbelief at what Nate had just done. D'Antoni was screaming at Robinson as he headed to the bench, and wildly gesturing and pointing at the Nets basket, wondering why Robinson didn't shoot at the correct basket instead.
Nate Robinson was benched for the rest of the game. Chris Duhon and Larry Hughes played the rest of the game at the guard positions.

For those who like basketball and sport of any kind, I support this story. Arrogance is a loser.

Nate Robinson can be such an idiot sometimes. He was right to be benched for the remainder of the game. That is a true sign of arrogance on his part.
