National badminton squad of New Zealand arrive in Jakarta

"Yes, the team arrived today," a spokesperson of the event, Linda Wahyudi said on Monday.

The team is now staying at a hotel in West Jakarta.

New Zealand`s six-member men team has represented the Oceania Zone for three times in the final round of the Thomas Cup after that in Jakarta (2004) and in Tokyo and Sendai of Japan (2006).

While for New Zealand`s seven-member women team, their participation in the final round of the Uber Cup will be for the second.

Following are list of names of the men and women squad:

Men: John Moody, Joe Wu, Kevin Dennerly, Craig Cooper, Henry Tam, Nathan Hannam.
Women: Rachel Hindley, Michelle Chan, Jessica Jonggowisastro, Danielle Barry, Emma Rodgers, Renee Flavell, Donna Cranston.

Meanwhile, the 20-member Indonesian team for the event, she added, had also moved to the Sultan Hotel, the official hotel for Thomas and Uber Cup.
