National Signing Day 2009: Live Updates on College Signings

College football fans around the nation are paying a close eye on the 2009 National Signing Day, the last day when top high school prospects can sign with NCAA teams. Well, it's not quite the last day. Many will note that last year's top prospect Terrell Pryor didn't official confirm his attendance at Ohio State until six weeks after the College Football signing day.

Here are the latest updates of college football signing day 2009:

-Alabama signs five-star running back Trent Richardson, capping off a remarkable signing day for the Crimson Tide.

-Georgia signed Marlon Brown, the top 5-ranked receiver in the nation.

-Alabama signs Dre Kirkpatrick and Kendall Kelly. Kirkpatrick is considered the nation's top cornerback. Kelly is considered one of the best prospects in Alabama. Alabama also signed our-star wide receiver Kenny Bell.

Bell signed with the Crimson Tide on signing day. He is the No. 12 recruit in Louisiana and 40th ranked wide receiver.

-Michigan signed wide receiver Je'Ron Stokes. The Philadelphia native is  the fourth-ranked player in Pennsylvania.

-Oregon signed wide receiver Tyrece Gaines, the number 8 juco prospect in the nation.

-Penn State signed wide receiver Justin Brown. The four-star prospect was considered the best high school player in Delaware.

-UCLA signed offensive tackle Xavier Su'a Filo signed with UCLA. The Utah native was considered a Top 10 offensive tackle prospect.

-Arizona signs defensive tackle Jonathan Hollins. The juco prospect committed to Tennessee in December but switched to the Wildcats.

-Ole Miss signed Raymond Cotton, a four-star quarterback from Maryland.

-LSU signed Rueben Randle. The Lousiana native decided to stay in home state instead of heading to Alabama, Oklahoma, or Auburn.

-Tennessee signs wide receiver Nu'Keese Richardson, another quality signing for the Vols.

-USC signed Jarvis JonesJ, a defensive end who considered offers from Florida and Texas.

-Tennesssee signed inside linebacker Robert Nelson, who was also looking at attending Auburn.

-Virginia signed offensive tackle Morgan Moses. The Virginia native chose to stay in his home state rather than go to North Carolina or Tennessee.

-UCLA signed Damian Thigpen, who can play either wide receiver or cornerback prospect.

-USC signed safety Jawanza Starling. He is expected to play both football and basketball for the Trojans.

-Akron signed defensive tackle Christopher Henderson.

-Vanderbilt signed running back Wesley Tate, the brother of Notre Dame wide receiver Golden Tate.

-Missouri signed five-star Sheldon Richardson, a Missouri native who is one of the top defensive tackle prospects in the country.

-Arkansas signed defensive tackle  DeQuinta Jones made his pick with a signature for Arkansas. The four-star prospect had previously committed to Michigan.

-Alabama has received Letters of Intent from running back Eddie Lacy and offensive tackle Brandon Moore. Lacy is a four-star prospect who is one of the top players in Louisiana. Moore is a four-star prospect who is a native of Alabama.

-Notre Dame has signed five-star linebacker Manti Te'o announced he will sign at Notre Dame, a bit of a surprise since many thought the Hawaii native would play on the West Coast.

-Tennessee signed Greg King, a three-star prospect from Memphis, despite interest from Auburn.

-Syracuse has signed JUCO offensive lineman Andrew Tiller after he looked at Miami and Rutgers.

-Washington has signed junior college defensive back David Batts after originally signing with Kansas State. The Huskies also signed James Johnson.

-Tennessee has signed Marsalis Teague after reneging on his commitment to Florida.

-UCLA has signed tight end Billy Sanders. The Idaho native originally committed to the Miami Hurricanes before switching to the Bruins.
