http://dcprosportsreport.com/2009/04/the-nationals-blog-review-a-viewers-guide.html

Back in FEBRUARY, we reviewed all Washington Nationals Blogs.  We promised we would keep the list updated for your viewing pleasure.  We've decided we would update and review Blogs for each DC pro sports franchise at the start of their new season.  Well, baseball season is upon us and it is time to give our viewer's guide on Nationals coverage.  You can check out quick news tidbits we may not blog or may not have the time to blog, or may not be around to blog, but you may find it by following us on Twitter

We are going to rank these based on Stars for our subjective opinion of coverage.  Our viewers guide for you!

* * * * *  EXCELLENT COVERAGE
* * * *  This is a great read

  Pretty Decent Blog,
* *  It's OK,
Ummmm, not sure what's going on here

Active Commenting Guide:  No, means None.  Little, means sporadic. Some means a few on each post.  Yes, means active.  Absolutely means a ton of comments!

MEDIA BLOGS

Nationals Journal, Washington Post:  You can chalk this up to excellent daily coverage.    Several posts daily, great topics, the Post covers the Nats the best.  They have the unique inside edge that makes this blog awesome.  Besides just the Priority Readings below, Nationals Journal should be a first pit stop for Nats news because they will have the latest.      Rank:   * * * * *

Chatter, Washington Times:  Mark Zuckerman does a decent job.  My assumption is, once the season gets underway, there will be daily posting.  Posting is not as consistent and frequent as the Nationals Journal, but still is a great read.  We still think it is an essential part of your Nationals diet.  Rank:  * * * *

MASN Blog:  MASN is the television network of the Nationals and this is the home blog. This is an excellent blog.   Make sure you click on the headlines for additional text to the blog entries.  Rank:  * * * *

PRIORITY READING

Federal Baseball:  The most comprehensive blog for the Washington Nationals on the web.  If you are a die hard Nats fan, you already know about this site.  If you are a casual fan, get to know it.  In fact, subscribe to the RSS feed.  You are not going to get one story per day from these guys.  Debate threads, tons of stats, polls, commentary and more.   In our opinion, this is the best all around pure Nats coverage blog out there.   This is a true comprehensive Nats site with tons of franchise info.  We just need to hunt them down for a link exchange.  And we will.  Archives:  Back to 2005, birth of the franchise.

Nationals Pride:  Been there since the very beginning and one of the best of the best on the web.  It is a full blown website, with tons of information, stats, info about the team, history, you name it.  I love the layout.  Comprehensive is the best word to describe Nationals Pride.  Like Federal Baseball, Nationals Pride is in the ELITE, no question.  Bookmark it!  Another one of those sites that if you are a Nats fan, you must know this site.  These guys also have the premier Nationals Podcast ont he web.  Subscribe to it HERE.  When we say that Federal Baseball above is the best, well, maybe we this one.
