NBHHCM 2010, David J. Stern Day June 4, 2010

The NBHHCM (National Basketball & Hip-Hop Culture Month) Foundation has selected June 4, 2010 to be the first-year of observerance as "David J. Stern Day" http://nbhhcm2010hcl.blogspot.com/2010/02/nbhhcm-2010-honor-calendar-list.html during NBHHCM 2010. Commissioner Stern has been the NBA Commissioner since 1984 (the birth-year of the hoops and hip-hop culture era). He's the 4th NBA Commissioner in the history of the NBA. June 4th was selected to honor that distinction. The City of Las Vegas, NV has become the 15th US city to proclaim June as NBHHCM 2010 (National Basketball & Hip-Hop Culture Month).
