The bracket is based on the final regular-season standings with the conference champion earning top seeds and top five receiving first-round byes.
1. Michigan State - Kept its hopes for a top seed alive with the victory over Minnesota
2. Illinois - A strong team with a solid front and back-end
3. Purdue - The team will fly with Robbie Hummel in the lineup
4. Wisconsin - A shaky team that has just been knocked off by Ohio State
5. Ohio State - In tough as the win over Wisconsin is the first victory over a higher seed in the tournament since 2003
6. Penn State - Almost has a spot locked up in the NCAA tournament
7. Michigan - Questionable team, but has prior victories over Duke and UCLA
8. Minnesota - A scrappy team that just lost to Michigan State
9. Northwestern - Has plenty of work to do
10. Iowa - Blown out by Michigan on Thursday
11. Indiana - Considered a throw-away year, lost to Penn State 66-51

Evan Turner scored six points and P.J. Hill made three free throws as the Ohio State men's basketball team closed the game with a 14-3 run in the final five minutes and defeated Wisconsin 61-57 in a Big Ten tournament quarterfinal today in Conseco Fieldhouse.
