The 2009 NCAA Softball World Series is underway. The tournament features the top eight softball teams in the country. The 2009 College Softball World Series features:

1. Georgia

2. Arizona

3. Alabama

4. Michigan

5. Arizona State

6. Florida

7. Washington

8. Missouri

The opening round of the NCAA Softball World Series will feature the following games on May 28:

-Washington vs. Georgia (Final Score: Washington 3 Georgia 1)

-Missouri vs. Arizona St. (Final score: Arizona St. 7 Missouri 3)

-Alabama vs Michigan

-Arizona vs. Florida

The ump behind the plate was definetly prejudiced for Michigan against Alabama.Watching on home TV was extremely difficult to watch him make such extreme bad calls for Ala.

I agree with Rita that was a awfully one sided called game. Alabama should have been in the winners bracket all the way.

I didn't get to see the Michigan/Bama game but the final score sure shocked me because Bama has been rolling all season and for them to make that many mistakes in one game was just way too hard for me to believe.
