March Madness 2010 Ohio State Buckeyes Take on the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos
UC Santa Barbara aren't looking forward to a match-up with Ohio State, and that's probably because the Buckeyes might have the best player in the entire nation.
Evan Turner, whose buzzer beater in the Big 10 tournament has been playing on Sports Center for the last week, averaged 20.3 points for the Buckeyes this season, and is looking to do even more damage on the big stage.
UCSB coach Bob Williams knows what his team is facing in Turner, describing film study of the Buckeyes' versatile and athletic star as "a little bit like going to watch a horror movie.""There's really not a weakness in his game," Williams said. With a strong performance in the tournament, Turner could solidify his status as the game's top collegiate player.
The Gauchos have their own 1-2 punch to combat Turner, in the harmonious play of Orlando Johnson and forward James Nunnally, who combine for 32.9 points per game.
