The Miami Dolphins are reportedly getting a new logo, no doubt leading to rampant speculation about what the new design might be. There have been leaks in the past but Big Lead Sports talks about the latest leak as the most convincing to date.

The leaked Miami Dolphins logo was tweeted out by sports uniform expert Paul Lukas of ESPN. He wrote: "Here's the most convincing leak so far of what appears to be the new Dolphins logo."

The logo features a tweak of the traditional Dolphins logo.

For our money, we're not keen on the leaked Dolphins logo. We kind of miss the football helmet on the Dolphins helmet on the old logo. The Dolphins were one of the only teams to have a picture of a helmet on their helmets. The only team left with a helmet on their helmet logo: the Raiders.

Big Lead didn't really like the new Dolphins logo, but not because of some dorky reason like pictures of helmets on helmets.

They referred to the new design as "lifeless"
