Now his name will be attached to one of the most expensive sneakers Nike has ever produced. The new LeBron X will cost $315. James himself won the LeBron X sneaker during the gold medal game at the London Olympics.
The new LeBron X is substantially more expensive than LeBron's last shoe, which retailed for about $175. It's even more expensive than Kanye West's recent sneaker, the Air Yeezy 2 which sold for about $245.

How is Nike justifying the cost for the new LeBron James X sneaker? They say it includes Nike+ technology that can track your workout and features "the same Hyperfuse construction of the LeBron 9's." They've also given practical reasons for the cost bump, which includes a rise in materials and labor.
