The SFU, U-19 Mens team picked up their sixth consectutive win of the season defeating Pocomo 17-0 on a chilly Saturday morning. At approximatly the 10 minute mark of the first half, the Clan got their first try of the match. About 7 minutes later the Clan got another try, Michael Boleak's second of the match, to go up 10-0 on Pocomo. The Clan were not finished scoring in the first half and managed to get a third try from Carl Ganzert, and Curtis Magrath kicked a successful conversion to put the Clan up 17-0. The second half was fast paced again, but neither team failed to capatilize on their chances. The victory moved the Clan into first place in the season at 4-0, almost assuring them a spot in the playoffs. This will be the first time in numerous years that the U-19 mens team will advance to the playoffs. The Clan take to the pitch again Saturday morning against Ridge Meadows.
