New York Cycle Club conduct Worldwide Bicycling Accident Survey
At long last there will be a Risk Assessment that will analyse cycling accidents round the world. Perhaps one day, cycling blackspots will be properly recorded. This will help people new to the area, particularly tourists who are unfamiliar with the roads and bring more improvements as they see how bad some of the roads are.
The survey, which takes about four minutes, and guarantees anonynity but must be honest, can be downloaded from the European Cycling Federation website. (I have just looked on various cycling websites but so far this news hasn't reached them).
(I did notice that improvements to the roads tend to happen when Le Tour de France come to town so maybe, they need to come more often so the potholes are fixed!)

"The New York Cycle Club (NYCC) is conducting a survey to gather bicycling accident information from a diverse population of cyclists. Anyone may submit one or more bicycling accident survey responses. Whether you had a minor or major accident, or observed one, live in New York or far away.
The results of this ongoing worldwide survey will eventually be compiled, analyzed, and published on the European Cycling Federation website".
