A Few Power Failures at New Jersey's New Meadowlands Stadium on Sunday Brought the Giants and Cowboys Game to a Halt

The power failures came in the 3rd quarter of the game when one of the two stadium feeders experienced what the stadium called a 'power interruption'. When the first failure occurred the stadium started taking power from the second feeder, but when a power interruption occurred on that one too, it caused a full outage.

In total, the power outages lasted about 12 minutes.

"The New Meadowlands Stadium experienced two power outages in the 3rd quarter of tonight's game," a statement issued by stadium said. "Power was lost when one of the two feeders to the stadium experienced a power interruption."

The Dallas Cowboys beat the New York Giants 33-20.
