Brandon Spikes Video Prompts NFL Investigation

After World Star Hip-Hop posted the alleged Brandon Spikes sex video, the New England Patriots linebacker's agent went into defensive mode. Now the NFL is investigating the Brandon Spikes sextape as a personal-conduct issue.

NFL spokesman Greg Aello told ESPN via email, "we're looking into it." It's not clear exactly what that meand beyond trawling Youtube.

However, Brandon Spikes' agent, Terry Watson, said that the video would have been recorded before Spikes was drafted.

"He's come a long, long, long way to get where he is," said Spikes' cousin, Rakeem McSwain of Shelby, N.C. to the Herald. "He's got too much to lose to be playing around with a videotape."

The former Florida Gators star was drafted in the second round of the 2010 NFL Draft.
