NFL Pink Breast Cancer 2012: NFL Wears Pink Shoes, Gloves
For the fourth year in a row, NFL players will wear pink to honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Starting in Week 5 of the 2012 NFL season, 30 NFL teams will be hosting pregame and in-stadium initiatives to raise awareness about breast cancer. Many NFL players will be getting in on the act as the league has allowed players to wear pink accessories during games.
Several NFL players will wear pink shoes, tapes or other accessories to remind viewers that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Players, coaches and referees will wear various pink items to raise awareness about breast cancer.
Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III wore a special pink sleeve on his arm.
