As of June 1, 2011 there are 24 nominees for selection to theBritish Columbia Amateur Boxing Hall of Fame. After June 30th.Seven administrators will make the final selection.
The administrators are:Ray Beaulieu, Scott Galloway, Jessie Kaellis, Gregg M. Ross, Steve Wood and Brian Zelley. ****************
***2011 New Categories***
Some new categories have been added since the 2010 selection. One of the categories is Junior/Youth Boxing with two-time Canadian champion ALAN BROWN being the nominee. Also, clubs events, families and teams have been added with the BOYCE FAMILY nominated, also three clubsand the 1967 Shrine International Diamond Belt Championships.
For the Pioneer section, Boxing BC legend TOMMY PAONESSA has been nominated. Tommy is presently an inductee of three otherHalls of Fame including the BC SPORTS HALL OF FAME.
