Nordica Ski Binding Plates May Fail

Nordica Skis with XBI Alu Binding Plates sold between 2006 and February 2009 are subject to a recall notice.  The plates may crack and fail causing a fall or injury to the skier.  To date, no injuries have been reported.  Nordica is issuing the recall notice to prevent any injuries.

The recall notice covers 11 models  -- Speedmachine, Dobermann, Hot Rod Hellcat, Olympia Firefox.  More than 1 000 skis have been sold across Canada.

Imported by NRB Sports of Ville St-Laurent, PQ from Italy.

Remedy:  If you have the models being recalled, you can take them back to an authorized dealer for replacement plates at no cost to you.  NRB has a toll free line for more info. 1 800 361 9090.
