North American Competitors On Podium In A1GP

Former ChampCar competitor (2007 - Jani drove for the PKV Racing), Neel Jani, became the fifth different race winner this season as A1 Team Switzerland took victory in the Sprint race held November 23, 2008 at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia. France's Loïc Duval finished second ahead of Earl Bamber for A1 Team New Zealand in third.

 

A1 Team Ireland became the first nation to score two victories this season, as Adam Carroll dominated the Sepang Feature race to take a comfortable win.

 

Filipe Albuquerque raced to second place for Portugal while IRL competitor (Andretti Green Racing), Marco Andretti, finished third for the USA.
