NowPublic Olympics Channel
Tired of having the Olympics explained to you by a foreign correspondent or served up by China’s state media?
NowPublic’s Beijing 2008 channel puts Olympics news in your hands. Come to the channel to contribute news, photos and video from the scene in Beijing, read commentary from a diverse array of sources, and add your voice to the debates on the political, social, and artistic dimensions of the Games.
We’re interested in collaborating with people who have been in Beijing during the Olympics. If you have any news to share, be it an anecdote about commuting to the Birds Nest or a photo of the party at the bar where you watched one of the sporting events, please feel welcome to post it on NowPublic.
Alternatively if you're a fan back home, let us know you rate the Olympics in retrospect, or tell us how you're celebrating or mourning your country's performance at the Games.
Tag your stories with "Beijing 2008," "bg08," and "Olympics" to send them to our Olympics channel.
Follow our Olympics coverage on Twitter, and share photos at our Olympics Flickr group.

Nobody sees Olympic sports stories here unless they check sport channel or catch a comment from it. My 3 Sailors story was on the Beijing 2008 'channel' page briefly, but now surpassed by all the periphery stories that are not actually about the Olympic sports.
This is way too bad. Cuz... well....
And you can hardly find it. even an email sent to me with updates to it, link took me to Front Page, not this one

Hi - The channel will be getting a new format in the next few days which will allow us to showcase the stories better. In the meantime I've managed to reinstate the 3 sailors story.
