Is it possible to get way too fired up for an NFL game? Apparently so, as seen yesterday when Seattle Seahawks fullback Owen Schmitt headbutted his helmet with such force that he opened up a deep cut on his forehead, with a huge stream of blood running down his face.

Before you watch the video, a bit of warning must go out to those who get a bit screammish when they see blood.

Trainers had to attend to Schmitt during the national anthem as blood covered his face and seeped onto his uniform. They finally had him ready to take the field on the second play from scrimmage.
