Pakistan fielded first after the losing the toss in the semi-final of the Twenty World Cup 2012 game being played in Colombo on Tuesday night. See live scorecard.

SL included Rangana Herath  in the squad for Akila Dananjaya's. Pakistan included Sohail Tanvir ahead of veteran allrounder Abdul Razzaq.

Sri Lanka have lost all the four T20 internationals they have played at the Premadasa Stadium.

The 2nd semi-final will be played between Australia vs West Indies in Colombo on Friday.
