Electing to bat, Pakistan scored 177 for six against New Zealand in a Group 'D' match of the ICC World Twenty20 at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium.

Earlier, Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat against New Zealand in their World Twenty20 Group match in Sri Lanka's Pallekele city on Sunday afternoon.

Pakistan have left out Mohammad Sami, Raza Hasan, Abdul Razzaq and Asad Shafiq from the match. Yasir Arafat is playing ahead of Razzaq.

New Zealand have brought in fast bowler Adam Milne to replace the injured Martin Guptill.
