Pakistan will take Sri Lanka on Saturday here at Karachi for the 1st Test Match. This is first time that Pakistan will host test match after the long gap of 14 Months. Most of series in Pakistan including Champions Trophy was taken out due to security reasons in the Pakistan. The Test series between Pakistan vs Sri Lanka will not only fulfill the wishes of the Cricket Fans of Pakistan but will also add money to the empty treasury of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

Pakistan play a Test match after 14 months- a staggering piece of statistic, when they take on Sri Lanka at Karachi tomorrow. Pakistan have a new skipper in Younis Khan after Shoaib Malik was sacked in wake of the ODI series defeat to SL. With no Test matches under their belt the Pakistani outfit would take some time to adjust to the wiles and guiles of M&M(Murali and Mendis).

The other important factor to consider here is the absence of middle order bulwark Mohammed Yousuf who shunned Pakistani colours in favour of the ICL. Without Yousuf's imposing presence the middle order looks somehwat feeble. A young pace brigade led by Umar Gul would shoulder the burden after mercurial paceman Shoaib Akhtar was ruled out with an injury.
