Paul Pierce may be getting on in years, but he can still play. During Friday night's game against the Toronto Raptors, Paul Pierce dunked on Chris Bosh in the most ferocious manner possible. In the fourth quarter, Pierce drove past Raptor Rasho Nesterovic and raised up on Bosh. Pierce ended up kneeing Bosh in the chest and dunked on him. Pierce was then called for a technical for taunting after the dunk.
The Raptors bench was upset, thinking that Pierce should have been charged with an offensive foul.
"I think Pierce made a great play," said Raptors coach Jay Triano. "I just don't think when a guy gets hurt, that you stand over him and taunt him. So that's why I was upset and that's why the rest of the team was upset. I like the way that we fought back after that. I just don't think that's very sportsmanlike. Great play, but I don't think you need to stand there and taunt afterward."
Here is the Paul Pierce Dunk on Chris Bosh video.

Paul Pierce is a punk! He knee'd Bosh in the Balls, and then stood there to flex and taunt him?Does that make you a man Paul? Kneeing someone in the balls and standing over them while they roll on the ground in pain? What a punk...too bad, i used to like Pierce...though he was tough...not cheap!ciao for now, amack out

I disagree Amack. I saw the play and Paul Pierce did not KNEE Bosh in the balls, Bosh jumped into Pierce's knee. It wasn't Pierce trying to be tough, it was Bosh's fault for making a dumb play. He knew he was in the circle and would get called for a blocking foul so he decided to jump, either way was a bad decision he's lucky he didn't get called for a blocking foul. Paul may have taunted him but its not like he got down in his face and yelled at him he looked down and flexed his arm. It happened within two seconds of the dunk, Pierce probably didn't even realize Bosh was hurt. If Bosh had gotten up right away no one would have a problem with the taunt. Pierce made a good move and Bosh made a bad decision, thats all there is to it, I'm a raptors fan and I thought it was a great play.

You know what pissed me off with that play? It was after when you saw Nesterovic, Turkoglu and Calderon just look nonchalant and walk away. Calderon casually walks to Bosh to see if he's alright. Nobody actually stuck up for their star player at that moment. They're all a bunch of punks. You better believe if somebody did that to Pierce on the opposite side, KG, Rondo, Rasheed, Perkins, ANY ONE OF THOSE GUYS would defend their star player and get right up in the opposing players faces. That's a true indication and sum up of the lack of heart the Raptors have and why they will not be successful this year. Bosh is the only one giving his all on the court and you have idiots like Turkoglu being all buddy buddy with the opposing team, hugging and laughing DURING THE GAME, WHILE THEY'RE LOSING! Raptors don't deserve to keep Bosh at the end of this year.
