PENALTY OR NOT...GUNNERS GOT LUCKY by Yommie

Against Dynamo Kiev who played with no fear or intimidation, the Wenger boys grew out of ideas. The Dynamo players closed down every ball, chased every golden shirt, and threw their legs into tackles - even resorting to dubious means (Sagna's penalty).

Wenger saw it coming. A team which beat Sparta Moscow by a margin of more than fives goals is not just an average team. He said that a draw would please him - he got it, hence, he should stop complaining.

Granted, Sagna was caught on the wrong side of the Dynamo player and was pulled down. The referee did not have a good view so I absolve him of any blame. However, credit must be given to the Kiev players who played out their hearts and made it difficult for Arsenal. They played better than we did in the second half. If we had been more clinical in front of goal, this wouldn't have been.

So good luck to the Gunners and congratulations. And will someone tell Adebayor to stop all his Henry-istic emulations; he should try simple balls more often, not try to curl it around the goalkeeper or something.
