Nothing comes close to the Halloween day Phillies championship parade going on as I type this, mere blocks from me. Kids in Phillies schwag are propped on parental shoulders, high school kids are shirtless painted head to toe with pride, the open containers pass freely from hand to mouth as cops walk by. And those who have not forsaken Halloween prove to the masses that witches, ghosts and vampires can be ghouls and sports-fans.
