Pitcher From the World Series Champs Receives 50 Game Suspension!

So J.C. Romero gets 50 games for taking a banned substance.  This is the same Phillies reliever that won 2 games in the World Series for the winning team.  Does this taint the Philly win? You bet it does! It doesn’t matter that he “unknowingly” took an over the counter supplement that contained a banned substance.  Or that it wasn’t marked as containing anything illegal.  He was under the influence and he had a DIRECT impact on team results! That is the bottom line here!

Enjoy your tainted win and rings Philly!  What a disappointment and embarassment to the game and the organization mistake or not.  Give the Tampa Bay Rays the championship or at the very least MLB should put an asterisk beside the Phillies name in the record books.  Will either happen?  Not bloodly likely. 

We will do it ourselves and the fans will know.
