Ben Roethlisberger Controversial TD to Santonio Holmes__Steelers vs_ Ravens__HD Quality

The Pittsburgh Steelers are  AFC North Champions after a controversial touchdown pass from Ben Roethlisberger on Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens. With 43 seconds left in the game and down 3 points, Santonio Holmes caught a 4 yard touchdown pass from Roethisberger to lead the Steelers to their second straight division title and earned a first round bye.

“You know me,” Roethlisberger said afterward in a cleared-out visitors locker room at M&T Bank Stadium. “I hold onto the ball too long. Throw it away early and go for the field goal, or keep running around and try to win it? I chose the second option, ‘cause that’s how I am. Oh well.”

Pittsburgh trailed 6-9 before gaining 92 yards in 12 plays to score the games only touchdown for the win. The play was heavily reviewed to determine whether Holmes had both feet down and if the ball crossed the line. Referee Walt Coleman confirmed it was a touchdown and the Steelers went on to get the extra point to win the game with a final score of 13-9.
