Police dog savages football fan's pride and joy

Football fan Dirk Zimmer wants to sue German police after a watchdog bit him in his privates.

Dirk (38) was left in agony after the heavy handed policemen set the vicious dog on him after they mistook him for a hooligan.

The locksmith had been peacefully making his way back to his car after the fifth division derby match between 1. FC Saarbruecken amd FC Homburg. “We wanted to cross a small park as a shortcut” said the 38 year old. But around 20 policeman blocked his path. “One of the policeman said that we should move on, I stepped back and then slipped. Suddenly a dog was standing over me and bit me. I felt a sudden pain in my groin area” said Dirk. (see pics here)

Dirk got a shock when he looked in his pants to see if everything was OK – a two-centimetre piece of skin was hanging off. The amateur footballer was rushed to hospital where he was detained for four days until his prized piece was back in best shape.
