A Super Bowl 2013 Ad For Pornhub Has Been Rejected Even Though It's SFW. Here is the Video

The very NSFW site Pornhub has had its SFW Super Bowl 2013 ad rejected. The company has since posted the Super Bowl ad online.

This is hardly the first time something that this happened. In fact, it could be considered a business plan. Back in 2011, website Ashley Madison had a Super Bowl ad banned. The website, which helps married men connect with women for extra-marital affairs, received more attention for the banned ad than if it had aired.

Odds are, the folks over at Pornhub knew their ad had no chance of airing during the Super Bowl. But by trying and getting rejected, they could rack up a little publicity (as if free porn needed more publicity).
