Life long Chicago Bulls fan Barack Obama has invited his team to the White House while they are in town playing the Wizards this Friday. This honor is usually reserved for the team that wins the championship in their respected sport but Obama is overlooking that and making the Bulls the first pro team to visit the White House during his term in office.

“The opportunity to visit President Obama at the White House is a great honor for the Chicago Bulls organization,” executive vice president of business operations Steve Schanwald said in a statement.

“The President has been a fan of the Bulls for many years and we are very appreciative of this opportunity to say hello to him and pay our respects.”

I took the Benny the Bull photo on January 9th, the Bulls were facing the Wizards. The photo was captured with a Nikon D40X. Check out my photos at nottinghammer.com.
