Pune, Kochi - New IPL Franchises for 2011

The latest news from the Chennai Press Meeting is that Pune and Cochin has found place for the new franchise team auction.
Teams in the auction list were Ahmadabad, Kanpur, Nagpur, Gwalior, Pune, Kochi and Indore. Only two teams have to be selected from the auction.
Pune and Kochi has found way to get into the New IPL Franchises list as Sahara Group successfully was highest bidder with around 370$ million that around 1700 Crore Rupees. The second highest bid was by Rendezvous Sports World Limited for Kochi at around 333.3$ Million that is at 1531 Crore. If one remembers couple of years ago, this team could have been available at just 100 Million USD.
