Delhi Daredevils won by 3 wkts

Yuvraj: You have to give it to Delhi. They played well and they hung in there. We did not bowl well at the death. Venugopal batted really well. Warner and Sehwag batted well and we have to improve on our bowling in the first six overs and the last four overs. I tried bowling with spin and I told Jessy to bowl slower but it did not work. IPL is very unpredictable.

Yuvraj Singh is the MoM for his 66 off 32 balls and for his haul of 4/29

Sehwag: It is a happy moment for us. Yuvraj played well and he bowled well. I thought Yuvraj will not bowl the second last over as Finch got out. It was a great team effort. We knew that this ground is small, the wicket is good to bat on and we could score sixes easily. I just told Warner to stay in there for the first six overs and runs will come easily. Hopes came in place for Morkel and it worked for us. Venugopal is in good form and he was brilliant today.

Incredulous Moments: IPL 2011 MATCH16 - PW vs DD

Warner: We were always feeling confident, we had serious depth in our batting and credit to Jimmy - who was playing his first game, he kept his nerve and took us home. Hopefully this win takes the momentum back into Delhi. They batted fantastically, Yuvi hits the ball a mile. We expected them to score 200 and we knew we had the batting to win this. It was one of the things, hopefully we can take them in the next game.

The game of the tournament so far. Sehwag and Warner got the team off to a flier but Warner's run-out dented Delhi. Sehwag fell to a loose shot and Yuvraj picked up two wickets in two balls to dent Delhi. Delhi kept losing wickets but they hung in there. Wagh gave away 20 runs in the 18th over as Finch slammed him for a couple of sixes. However, Yuvraj sent back Finch in his last over and kept the game alive. Venugopal Rao then slammed a six and a four of Yuvraj to get Delhi closer. In the last over, Hopes smashed Ryder for a massive six as Delhi sealed victory by three wickets to secure their first win in the competition. This is the now the third time in this year's competition that a team has successfully chased down a total of 180+.
