Ramon "El Principe" Garcia Hirales native of the city of La Paz managed to fight with all his heart and keep his confidence to beat the technique and style of his oponent Casimiro who had his first defeat in 15 pro bouts. The scores were 115-113 for Casimero, and 115-113 in favor of Garcia.
The city of La Paz has given birth to outstanding athletes, that have been recognized for their triumphs nacionally and worldwide. So is the case of the Garcia Hirales brothes who now both hold world titles.
Casimero started strong and went after Garcia to take the early rounds but he quickly began to fade in the later stages of the fight and Garcia, the brother of former IBF minimum weight champion Raul “Rayito” Garcia who won the title with a somewhat controversial split decision over Florante Condes in La Paz, Mexico on June 14, 2008, turned the tide in his favor.
