Randy Savage's Friends and Colleagues React to The Macho Man's Death

Randy Savage's career in the ring left him with the friendship and respect of two generations of pro wrestlers. Some of wrestling's biggest stars are now reacting to news of The Macho Man's death.

  • Hulk Hogan, who was just rebuilding a friendship with Savage, said, "He had so much life in his eyes & in his spirit, I just pray that he's happy and in a better place and we miss him."
  • Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson: "RIP Randy 'Macho Man' Savage - you were one of my childhood inspirations and heros. Strength, love and prayers to the Savage/Poffo family."
  • Wade Barrett: "Bow to the kingdom of the madness. RIP Macho Man, amazing performer."
  • Jon Cena: "The untimely passing of randy savage is indeed tragic. All true fans of wrestling will mourn this loss. One of the all time greats"
  • Natalya: "My prayers are with Randy Savage and his family right now."
  • UFC heavyweight Shane Carwin: "He never got the same credit as Hulk but he helped make that era what it was."
  • Yoshi Tatsu: "The Macho Man Randy Savage is one of my heros when I was childhood and one of the best of all time. Rest in peace."

Damn does that shock me that Randy Savage is gone. I am very sad of this news as he was one of the wrestlers that made me watch wrestling way back in the day and i still watch now. R.I.P. Randy "Macho Man" Savage. One more time everyone at the top of your lungs.................. OOOOOOOOOH YEAH................ DIG IT!!!!!!!!Randy you have taken your place up there with the best  of them!
