Ravens vs. Pats Heavyweight Rematch The "Razor Brawl" 4 It All 2
January 14, 2013- The Baltimore Ravens and New England Patriots will face one another again in the AFC Championship. Its a rematch of last years AFC title game won by New England 23-20.
This is truly a heavyweight title gridiron fight like an Ali vs. Frazier. For the 3rd time in a calendar year these two teams will face one another. Its their version of the "Thrilla in Manila" but they have their own title The "Razor Brawl" 4 It All 2.
Dunkadelic Sports Marketing in Baltimore gave the AFC Championship game on January 22, 2012 the title name The "Razor Brawl" 4 It All. Now 363-days later the two teams will get ready to get it on again.
If you believe in numbers 3+6+3=12. Twelve is the number worn by Patriots superstar Tom Brady.
The sub-plot for this game is a great story in the making. Will this be the last-game for future Hall-of-Fame player Ray Lewis or will he have one more chance to play in a Super Bowl.
Tom Brady the best quarterback of his generation who just pasted Joe Montana for the most all-time playoff wins (17) is looking to tie the football legend with 4 Super Bowl titles.
Brady is 0-2 in his last two trips to the big-game. Both defeats were to the New York Giants. The Pats will face another NFC team (49ers or Falcons) if they win this coming Sunday against Baltimore. New York missed the 2012 post-season.
Twenty years from now when there is a new generation of players historians will look back at the AFC Championship games between the Ravens and Patriots say I remember those games as if it was yesterday. Just like many remember the "Thrilla in Manila" it will be The "Razor Brawl" 4 It All 1 and 2.
