Ray Lewis Hit on Ochocinco Video: Chad Johnson Rocked By Lewis

The Cincinnati Bengals upset the Baltimore Ravens during Week 5 of the 2009 NFL season. What fans are really talking about is the Ray Lewis hit on Chad Ochocinco, nee Chad Johnson.

During a fourth-quarter drive, Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer threw a high pass down the middle of the field. Chad Ochocinco jumped up to catch the ball, leaving himself in a prone position. As the ball sailed over Ochocinco's head, Ray Lewis laid him out with a punishing helmet-to-helmet hit. The Ray Lewis hit on Chad Ochocinco was so hard it knocked Ochocinco's helmet clean off his head.

After the hit, Ochocinco stood up and looked to refs to see if they threw a flag.  Indeed, refs gave Lewis an unnecessary roughness penalty.

After the game, Chad Ochocinco said via Twitter that he had no hard feelings.

"Beautify game, Ray knock my head off, all part of the game, I love my big brother Ray Lewis, hope you all enjoyed thee event !!!!!"

Ironically, the day before the Ray Lewis hit on Ochocinco, the Bengals wideout tweeted a link to video of a hard hit Lewis laid on him back in 2007. He then said:

this will not happen to me again, I've gained 15 pounds since this play!!
