Real Big Goals : Two Major Zap Coups
Spanish giants Real Madrid has zapped in two big goals with the world whopping transfer of soccer stars Christiano Ronaldo and Brazilian playmaker Kaka within days.
The Real Madrid's world record 94 million euros (US$130 million) offer to buy Ronaldo, FIFA's World Player Of The Year,is too good for Manchester United to refuse.
So the Reds' boss, Sir Alex Ferguson, has accepted to take the big bucks and let go of his scoring machine.
Despite the global economic crunch, the soccer world has sizzled with excitement this week over the Kaka-Ronaldo one-two major coups by Real Madrid.
Real's president Florentino Perez has really raised the stakes to the top to turn the Spanish galactinos into a world class formidable football force.
So arch-rivals Barcelona, be prepared for the great games ahead.
With the galaxy of soccer stars lined up in Real Madrid and Barcelona, we can expect some dazzling foot work by twinkletoes(Ronaldo) and mastermind (Kaka) to take the soccer game to the next level.
Kaka, the bright lanky Brazilian player, signed up to join Real Madrid from AC Milan for 67.5 million euros on Monday.
The historic Ronaldo deal was done yesterday while the Portuguese winger was on holiday in Los Angeles.
Ronaldo is known to have hankered for Real to leave Old Trafford for months.
He has a pre-contract, it seems, with the Spanish club worth 8.3 million British pounds a year over the next five years.
And Ronaldo,24,literally painted the town red with hotel heiress Paris Hilton,28 and her sister Nicky on his new found riches.
They shared a raunchy rendevous at Hollywood posh club,The House, celebrating with Cristal champagne, hot kisses and steamy cuddles through last night till the early hours today.
Ronaldo visited both sisters at 3 a.m. to carry on the fun at Nicky's home in the Hollywood hills and left, apparently satisfied, at 5 a.m.
Paris had earlier dumped and locked out her previous lover,American baseball star Doug Reinhardt,24, proving that soccer now shines more magically with big bucks and sexy legs than baseball.
The 94 million euros done deal for Ronaldo's transfer from Manchester United to Real Madrid beats the previous world record deal for French great Zinedine Zidane for 75 million euros from Juventus to Real Madrid in 2001.
It puts Real in real competitive position to lead as professional football champions in Europe and the world with such famous legends as Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo and Brazilian Kaka in future.
By letting Ronaldo go from London to Madrid,Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson can now focus on recruiting new blood to rebuild the Reds.
He has approval from Manchester United's owners, the Glazer family, to buy fresh soccer stars like Wigan's Antonio Walencia, Lyon's Karim Benzema and Bayern Munich's Franck Ribery.
He is also expected to bid and keep Carlos Tevez, being eyed for transfer from the Reds to Manchester City or Liverpool. Tevez's future appear to be secured with Old Trafford now that it has the cash to make him happy with his present lot.
But latest reports are pointing to a battle of wills.
Apparently,Fergie called Tevez who is in Quito playing for Argentina's national team for the World Cup Qualifier with Ecuador.Tevez felt slighted that Manchester United has still not signed him up.
Ecuador beat Argentina 2-0.Tevez missed a golden opportunity to score after just four minutes and missed a penalty as well.
Meanwhile,Brazilian striker Robinho has expressed his interest for Tevez to combine with him to form a lethal strike force at Manchester City.He has suggested to City's management to buy Tevez, whose two-year loan to Manchester United is ending in August.
Tevez, nicknamed El Apache, is a fast lethal finisher.Argentina's football legend Diego Maradona described him as the Argentine prophet of the 21st.Century.
He has scored 19 goals in the Premium League after joining Manchester United two seasons ago.His lightning goal at two minutes and 41 seconds stands as the fastest goal todate for the 2008-2009 champions league.
Tevez has a superstar status in Argentina with a great track record as a striker.Tevez has been unhappy with Fergie for not automatically putting him as first choice for Manchester United's high profile games.
He is said to be weighing options to move to Manchester City, Liverpool,Chelsea or to a European club.
In two to three weeks, we shall know whether he will stay in Old Traffold or follow Ronaldo out to greener pastures as in John Milton's famous line: "Tomorrow to fresh Woods and Pastures new" in the poem Lycidas.
Ronaldo's transfer has given Fergie a hugh amount of big bucks to splurge. It may come in just right to stop Tevez from making the greener pastures move.
Anyhow, watch out for Manchester United's new star line-up with possible injection of talent that Fergie is planning!
Liquidity in the soccer world can work wonders.Ask Ronaldo how good life is with Cristal champagne and Paris Hilton.
