Z-man, Coach Jim Zorn, bit the dust. I wish that I could say, there were moments of brilliance, but there were none. I can say that I feel sorry for the way that Redskins owner Dan Snyder scalped the fans, coaches, and players for the last ten years. Some of the coaches are pretty good. Coach Bugel, for instance, has a great history with the team. Play caller Sherman Lewis whom they brought in from the bingo hall a few weeks ago did his job well. Redskin’s owner already fired the real culprit, Vinny Cerrato, who recruited a bunch of high paid losers, like Haynesworth who is so heavy his own ankles can’t support him. Portis was a good player who went lame. And, QB Jason Campbell is a lame player who is finally improving. He will end up taking some other team to the Super Bowl, I predict. Now, what’s next? They will hire Shanahan who happens to be a real jerk and who will not set the fans on fire in Washington.

"Redskins fire Zorn after 2 seasons (updated)
Updated at 7:10 a.m.
The Washington Redskins fired Coach Jim Zorn this morning, according to multiple reports, ending a two-year stint that began with his surprising elevation from an obscure quarterbacks coach and finished with a dismissal that seemed inevitable after the Redskins' disastrous four-win season.
Zorn's firing was reported by WRC and later by WUSA early Monday. But as of 7 a.m. Monday morning, some members of Zorn's staff hadn't been informed of any decision, and ESPN 980, the radio station owned by Redskins owner Daniel Snyder, said Zorn would be fired later in the day.
Zorn, 56, didn't comment after he returned from his team's trip to San Diego, where it lost the season finale 23-20 to finish 4-12, the team's worst record in 15 years. He finished his tumultuous tenure 12-20, and had one year left on his contract."
