Redskin's Sean Taylor Dies at 24

Hey folks, short post tonight. Just wanted to touch on the tragic loss
of Redskins pro-bowl safety Sean Taylor today. Taylor was shot in his
home early Monday morning during the course of an apparent burglary.
Two shots were fired, one missing him and the other striking his
femoral artery in his leg. He was rushed to a Miami area hospital where
his prognosis appeared to improve after he squeezed a nurse's hand.
Unfortunately Taylor passed away earlier today as a result of blood
loss. He never regained consciousness. Taylor leaves behind a
girlfriend, and a one year old daughter.

I really hate to see
things like this happen. By all accounts Sean Taylor was trying to
change his life for the better after being involved in shady groups.
His daughter was the reason for the turn-around. I can't imagine what
his girlfriend, family, and teammates must be feeling. Theres no easy
way to move on and play football after a tragedy like this. I
understand the NFL will honor Taylor in all games this Sunday. As it
should be. I can only hope some good will come of this situation. What
that may be, I don't know. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone
involved in the situation.
