Reggie Fleming, a former Chicago Blackhawks Stanley Cup 1961 Winner dies at the age of 73 in the Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights

He retired from hockey in 1977, but was remembered for his great defensive playing on the ice and his combative nature.

His son Chris, who told the Chicago Tribune of his father's death, made a series of videos with his dad to help remember him, which can be seen to the right.

To Chris and Kelly:

Please accept my heartfelt sympathy and condolences for the loss of your dear Dad.  I loved him too. I have seen him quite a lot over the years. Both of you will always be so special to me.  I used to babysit you when you were so little living on 17th Ave in Melrose Park. I would love to catch up with you at another time. I pray that God keeps you both in his care and gives you strength to get through this difficult time as well as ability to always cherish your memories with your Dad forever.

Love,
