Rex Ryan Gets Nathan's Hot Dog Contest Invite w. Super Bowl Win

It's no surprise that New York has fallen in love with Rex Ryan and his prodigious appetite. Earlier this week, we learned that the New York Jets head coach eats 7,000 calories a day and weighs around 350 pounds.

Well, if the Jets win the Super Bowl, Rex Ryan will get a sweet prize. According to Deadspin, Rich Shea, the President of the Major League of Eating, has vowed that he will give Rex Ryan a guaranteed spot in the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest on July 4. Ryan could sit alongside such competitive eating legends like Takeru Kobayashi and Joey Chestnut in the most prestigious eating competition in North America.

While Rex Ryan may have a seat at the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest, but he likely won't won it. The winner of the 2009 Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest ate a staggering 68 hot dog in 10 minutes.
