Ron Artest has done a lot to clean up his image this season. But his attack on Dallas Maverick guard Jose Juan Barea during the May 4, 2011 Laker-Mavs game may bring back a lot of unpleasant memories for fans.

Near the end of Game 2 of the 2011 NBA Western Conference semi-finals, Ron Artest clotheslined JJ Barea. He stretched out his arm to stop the much shorter Barea from passing him and ended up hitting him in the face. He may have just been trying to foul Barea to stop the clock or he may have intentionally tried to decapitate the Mavericks guard.

Charles Barkley said that he thinks the Ron Artest-JJ Barea clothesline is worthy of a suspension. Of course, Artest does play for the Lakers and some conspiracy theorists think that the league won't come down hard on a marquee team that is already down 2-0 in the Western Conference Semi-finals.
