Los Angeles Laker Ron Artest is clearly a big Michael Jackson. Artest has paid tribute to Michael Jackson by changing his uniform number and recording a hip-hop song.

Yesterday, Ron Artest announced that he would wear the number 37 with the Lakers in honor of Jackson. He chose the number because Michael Jackson's album Thriller stayed #1 on the charts for 37 weeks.

The new number isn't the first time that Artest has chosen a uniform number to honor his favorite music. While with the Sacramento Kings, Artest wore the number 93 in honor of the hip-hop classic "'93 'Til Infinity" by Souls of Mischief.

In addition, Artest recorded "Michael Michael," a hip-hop song meant to honor Jackson's memory.
