Ronaldo is still unsure whether he will return to professional football, and his 22-minute appearance in a charity match this week hasn't helped him decide. The three-time FIFA player of the year ruptured a tendon in his left knee in a Serie A game with AC Milan in February - the third major knee injury of his career - and is still in rehab.

One of the greatest soccer players of all time, is still very unsure of his future. Ronaldo has currently even got offers from well known teams however seems to be turning them down as he is still in rehab. Ronaldo turned down an offer from Siena President Giovanni Stronati to play in the Italian Serie A again.

"I thank him, but I really don't know what the future holds for me," Ronaldo said. "I don't know whether to continue playing or retire. I haven't taken a decision yet.

According to Ronaldo he has no rush, he just wants to finish his rehab first and then decide whether he will come back to professional soccer or not. If it turns out he dosen't come back he is probably going to be offered a position as FIFA's missionary ambassador to developing countries according to speculation from The Gazzetta.

Ronaldo who is today a goodwill ambassador for the UN Devolopment Program considers himself a lucky man as he can give back in so many ways according to his own word, he claims it's the least he can do.
