Ryan Leaf, the once highly touted Quarterback from Texas A&M University has been indicted in Texas.

Leaf, the second overall pick in the 1998 NFL draft behind Peyton Manning was indicted on seven counts of Obtaining a Controlled Substance By Fraud, 1 count of Burglary Of A Habitation, and 1 count of Delivery Of A Controlled Substance.

Known as possibly the biggest bust in NFL and professional sports draft history, Leaf only lasted four years in the NFL when many scouts believe he would be a better pro than Peyton Manning. Leaf had stints with the San Diego Chargers, Dallas Cowboys, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the Seattle Seahawks before retiring at age 26 with an unimpressive NFL career at 21 starts, 315 of 655 passes completed for 3,666 yards, 14 touchdowns and 36 interceptions.

Reports have Leaf undergoing drug rehabilitation in British Columbia at the time of the indictment.
