Sachin Tendulkar back to Pavilion after holiday in Mussoorie

MUSSOORIE, 1 Jan: Sachin Tendulkar and his family, after staying here for nearly a week, left for Mumbai as the winter vacations of the children, Arjun and Sara, have ended. This was the second visit of Sachin Tendulkar to the hill town.
For nearly five days, he was the talk of the town and the fans considered themselves lucky after meeting the stalwart. While he was in Mussoorie, the rumours were ripe about his permanently settling here, and tha he was looking for a home in the “Queen of the Hills”.
But these were refuted by in a conversation with Garhwal Post. He said that presently his main focus was cricket and he was concentrating on the New Zealand tour in March, therefore the question of searching for home or a commercial establishment, here, did not arise. He further said that he had come to meet close friend Sanjay in Mussoorie and for a subdued New Year’s celebration.
However, eyewitnesses confirmed that some property dealers seen visiting the area where he was staying, thus providing some grist to the mill. He was the most sought after person by the fans and media, alike, to the point of becoming ludicrous.
He also said that he thoroughly enjoyed his stay in Mussoorie. He wished the nation the very best for the New Year and prayed for the good health of all. He also said that the Indian Cricket team would definitely strive for the number one position in the world. He also said that, time permitting, he would visit Mussoorie again. He left Mussoorie at 12 noon along with other guests. He left for Mumbai from Jolly Grant Airport, sources claimed.
The residents of Mussoorie are clear that they will welcome any move on Sachin Tendulkar’s part to become a citizen of Mussoorie.

Children play cricket with Arjun Tendulkar in Mussoorie
MUSSOORIE, 28 Dec: Sachin Tendulkar and his family today took a day off at the Woodstock Quadrangle to play cricket with the local children. Arjun Tendulkar, son of the maestro, is a left hander and he enjoyed the game of cricket with the local children from the area.
As Sachin emerged from the house of his friend Sanjay Narang, the crowd was already waiting since early morning to get a glimpse and take photographs. Himani, Payal, Ananya and Shrey said that they had been waiting since 7 a.m. for Sachin. Himani, who works in HCL, said she was hooked on Sachin since she was 5 years of age. She recalled the first test match played by Sachin in Pakistan and has kept a scrap book of Sachin with a cutting of his first advertisement and other pictures. She has been collecting the pictures of Sachin for a long time and said that her wish to see him had, at last, come true.
Aman Rehman, the Guinness record holder for youngest animator in the world in 2006, also visited Sachin and played cricket with his son. Aman Rehman, student of St Thomas’ College also presented an animation of Sachin to Tendulkar, who was impressed by this child prodigy. Aman Rehman has received awards from the Chief Minister and the President of India for his work, said Kriti Sharma, CEO of a software development company in Doon. He added that Aman and Arjun got along well and exchanged their views on subjects apart from cricket. Sachin wished Rehman success in his future endeavours.

The tourist town of Mussoorie which was reeling under the affect of Global Meltdown and Mumbai Attack has finally come out of slump temporarily.The reason Sachin Tendulkar is on visit and celebrating his new year in Mussoorie.The news has reached far and wide and the fans and tourist alike are heading towards lal tibba and Char Dukan just for a glimpse of the maestro.
The tourists feel this is the best opportunity to meet the doyen of cricket in person and many have been lucky at it.Sachin who is in relaxed mood has obliged many with pictures and autographs and that includes me.My chat with sachin was formal and I am abiding by his request of not bothering him with too many questions.
Today he went to Tehri Lake, a lake created by The construction of a big Hydro Dam in Tehri Distt. of Garhwal.He was acompanied by his wife Anjali, son Arjun and daughter Sara.
the shopokeepers and the hoteliers are busy during this off season as most of the tourist have taken lodges in that area and that has really benefitted the business for the shopopkeepers and Hoteliers.As the news reaches to more people the town of Mussorie could become flooded with Sachin fans till new year thus bringing smiles on the faces of the business houses of Mussoorie.

Sachin Tendulkar on his private visit in Mussoorie sided with the government’s decision on cancellation of Pakistantour said that it was right decision under the given circumstances and he was saddened and deeply moved by the recent Mumbai terror attack. He added that after such incidents Cricket should take a back seat as tragedy was far bigger than sports. He supported the decision of Govt on canceling the tour. Cricket cannot be played under the fear of war he added. Sachin Tendulkar the doyen of Indian Cricket was in a relaxed mood on his visit to the hill station town of Mussoorie after the recent test series win against English team. He arrived on 24th Dec with his wife Anjali and two kids to celebrate New Year with a family friend Sanjay Narang in his mansion situated at Sisters Bazaar. He started his day with morning walk on the Lal Tibba Road along with his wife and friends. Speaking to media he said “The view of Snow clad Himalayan peaks from Lal Tibba is mesmerizing.” Speaking about the form of the Indian cricketers Sachin said that “presently the form of Indian Team was impregnable” He was all praise for Indian Captain MS Dhoni. He also said that Dhoni was leading India from front and team was playing as one cohesive unit. He further added that Dhoni was also lucky to have a good composite winning combination in his team and it is good to finish the year on winning note.Sachin also praised Gautam Gambhir and said that he has cemented his place in the team with his stellar and consistent performance.Gambhir this year has provided Indians with a good balance in the team. The solid technique of Gambhir both in defence and offence has proved a bane for opposition.Gambhir has scored 1000 runs in this calendar year.Sachin was hopeful that the present form of team will continue in the coming year too. Indian has a break of one and half month after which they will be touring New Zealand in March-April next year. Sachin also appealed to media that this was his personal visit so he should be left alone with his family so that he can enjoy few secluded moments with them. He promised media that he will appear before them on 1st January. Sachin later enjoyed a game of cricket along with his kids and the family near St. Pauls Church at Char Dukan. Tourists who met Sachin said that it was a pleasant gift for Christmas and New Year.

Amitjha is correct though, never the less there is one big difference with this particular post, being an Eye witness account rather then a Highlighted News Paper article.
There for it should stand as first. An Eye witness account does outweigh a Highlight in my book.
