Sal Aunese Tribute to Air on ESPN Sunday September 19

A Sal Aunese Tribute, called Outside The Lines, will air on ESPN this Sunday September 19th at 7am MT and at 10am MT on ESPNNEWS.

This is the 20th Anniversary of the death of Sal Aunese, who was a quarterback for Colorado Buffaloes in 1987 and 1988 and died from stomach cancer on September 23, 1989 after battling the disease for 5 and a half months.

His son, T.C. McCartney is now a reserve quarterback for LSU and his story is told in a separate documentary about him following in his father's footsteps. His story will be on ESPN.com on Sunday morning as well.
